Wynnedara

Said to be older than the sand of time itself, Wynnedara Desert seems oddly incongruous with the rest of Acellia. Surrounded on all sides by mountains and rainforest, it isn’t easy to accidentally wander here- and very few people travel here voluntarily. If thirst or the unbearable heat doesn’t kill you first, watch out for the great sand dragons, known as Wyverns. Rumor tells of a drifting city in the desert, most often called Wynnedae, never found in the same place twice, inhabited by beautiful people of bronze and gold. Lost and desperate travelers have been known to stumble upon the city, half dead, and be nursed back to health by the inhabitants, only to wake up at the edge of the desert with the city nowhere to be found, having disappeared without a trace.
