South of the Erahalla Swamp is the dark, eternally dying forest of Impasse. Blackened, rotting trees that seem to die even as they continually grow knit together and block whatever weak sunlight manages to filter through the thick cloud cover. Cobwebs and twisting vines string along the treetops, dripping poisonous flowers and strangely colored plants that appear vaguely carnivorous. Nightmarish creatures slink through the shadows, and terrible inhuman wails pierce the perpetual night of the forest. Lost somewhere in the heart of this jungle is the city Necrynos, dwelling place of the Arachnae.
