Name: Creighton Derwood
Alias: Nothing but Creighton.
Gender: Male
Race: Vampire
Occupation: Noble and Lap Dog
Age: 349
Height: 6'1"
Appearance: Over time, Creighton has turned his black eyes into a sort of trapping mechanism. Captivating one with his eyes is a sort of game that he likes to play, and it's a game that he's good at. Another feature that he uses to his advantage is his lips. He can easily manipulate them into a charming smile, a flirtatious grin or a snarl depending on his mood. The later is rarely ever used, and when it is it's best to get out of his way.
Now a rejected noble, Creighton has no use for the silly wigs and uncomfortable coats that stated his importance. Instead he chose to relax in a more dangerous and comfortable appearance. He prefers anything of black color, generally something comfortable. He still tends to wear anything that would make him appear important, as most nobles do, and tends to wear ruffled shirts and velvet pants. Sometimes he'll break his black style and wear a royal blue, yet this tends to be when he's expected at a formal dance or party.
His dark brown hair is generally cut short and rarely kept neat. He loves his hair. He won't admit it openly, but it is one of his favorite features about himself. His eyes, a dark brown, he sees as rather plain. They hold a rather dominating intensity that consumes a weak human girl into his bedchambers.
Powers: A stronger vampire than most, Creighton has a basic understanding of telepathy and can convince most weak-minded beings to do as he wishes. Previously a war magi, Creighton is a very annoying partner when it comes to dueling.
History: Creighton was born into one of the more wealthier human families. His father was considered a lord in Lai'Nir. Their family owned a small castle and a large group of serfs. Their lands were used mostly for farming and bordered with the lands of three other lords. The four lords together formed a tight bond. One of the lords was raising an army with the sole purpose of protecting all of them. With things not going well at home, Creighton was sent off at the young age of eight to learn what he could with the soldiers and knights of the other lord.
It was noted rather early on that Creighton seemed almost bored with his routine training. He dodged every attack with ease and blocked the opponent's blade nine times out of ten. Every blade he owned was sharpened and kept clean and neat. They declared him a war magi and changed his training to fit him.
At the age of eighteen, Creighton was introduced to the lord of a different area. The lord would only be staying for a short while and asked for Creighton to come to his lands and become a captain for his army. With his mother's illness and his father not wanting to deal with any more stress, he agreed and his parents didn't bother saying good bye.
On arrival, Creighton found something rather unexpected. The Lord, Xander, and his army, were not humans. They were vampires. They wanted to see if the 'magic' that Creighton possessed would follow him with his transformation. Rather interested, Creighton accepted and was turned. In return, Creighton would serve Xander for three hundred years. He would receive his own lands, on top of his family's with the death of his parents. All he had to do was lead an army and conquer surrounding lands for Xander.
Three hundred years have passed and gone. Creighton did as he was told and had received his dues. He had his own lands and his own income. Yet, even with the luxuries it brought he found himself rather bored within the confinements of his castle. So, he explores and does as he wishes. Occasionally he will answer to Xander's calls, simply out of sheer boredom.
He still hasn't found what he really wants to do.
Personality: Creighton isn't exactly what one would consider a teddy bear. He cares rarely about anyone other than himself and does his best to appear as if the world revolved around him. He speaks with an air of importance and makes sure that those around him feels mall and insignificant. Women, however, he tends to be a bit kinder towards. He still needed to feed, and what better way to do that then to bed a woman and take her blood after?
His tongue is quick and his tone can change from happy to enraged in but moments. Many of his servants avoid him as best as they can. He wonders, sometimes, why they are still loyal to him. He knows that he isn't exactly the nicest of people. Many have called him names that are not exactly the nicest. Yet, those people usually die by his hand.
He does not feel bad when killing a man. He'll hesitate with a woman, yet if he has to he'll kill her. Children he will not harm. They were too innocent to be considered a threat. If he had to kill their parents, he would. They would simply have to learn how to be on their own faster than they had wanted.
