Maverick panted behind him, a loopy grin on his face. He really wanted to throw Jive up in the air again, the sight was simply hilarious. He closed his jaw to the top of his mouth, cocking his head to the side a gave a small whine before moving closer to the fox. He stood above the red fluff ball and placed a paw in front of him before bending down and running his tongue over the fox's coat, making it neat again.
He pulled his head back to look at his work and gave a small bark, as if the fox looked amazing.
((Hahaha))

Jive looked warily between the wolf’s paw and his face, wondering what he was doing, and realized a beat too late that he was intending to lick him again.
Jive yelped and growled and wriggled as the huge, drool-covered tongue ran along his fur. Shuddering, he glared at the large wolf as he barked his approval. Rolling his eyes, Jive sat down and tried to raise his hackles, in an attempt to induce drying, but found them quite plastered to his skin. Craning his head to look back at the poor, slobberized fur, he chuffed indignantly and promptly collapsed, rolling in the dirt and quite thoroughly coating himself in a layer of soggy dust. Black eyes twinkling, he hopped back up and grinned at Maverick, turning in a circle and swishing his tail in a preening manner, as though saying ’What do you think now?’

Maverick cocked his head to one side, tongue swaying to one side. He walked over towards the fox, gave one sniff of the red fur ball and turned his head away in disgust. A grunt escaped the wolf's throat before the large white canine began to walk away in the direction of the forest. He looked over his shoulder once and released a short bark before padding forward. He was hungry.
Plus, he didn't really want to give the fox a bath anymore...he'd probably taste bad.
